Mike Pinkston MA, LPC, QEEG-DL

After being a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma and complex psychological issues, Mike entered the world of neurofeedback in 2012 because he wanted to see greater healing in Heart Matter’s clients. Mike is Heart Matters owner, clinical director, and neurofeedback professional.

Jennifer Fowler RPT

Jennifer (Jen) is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychotherapist serving both as a neurofeedback technician and Heart Matters’ phenomenal office administrator.

Melanie Burton BA, MCPC, HMCP

Melanie’s care for others brought her to Heart Matters where she serves clients as a neurofeedback technician and a certified practitioner of HeartMath Biofeedback.

Walt McClung MA, LPC, NCC

Walt is a retired Air Force veteran serving Heart Matters as both a neurofeedback technician and as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Nala, Walt’s beautiful golden retriever and licensed therapy dog, is a favorite at the office and is great at her job too!

Jenn Hickman MA

Jenn serves at Heart Matters as the Lead Neurofeedback Technician and Assistant, working in training sessions with clients and also behind the scenes with QEEG editing and analysis. She is a beacon of compassion and talent and is on a mission to guide individuals towards emotional well-being and fulfillment.

Alissa Edwards BHS

Alissa (Ali) is the Heart Matters neurofeedback technician for Teller County. She also manages the Heart Matters Restoration Initiative, a non-profit project that works to remove barriers of access to neurofeedback for first responders.
